When discussing modern furniture, much attention is given to aesthetics. We celebrate the finished object and overlook the system that made it possible. Boring beneath Boston Harbor — a look inside the new utility tunnel

Heavy civil at its most demanding: our TBM is advancing under the harbor, setting precast concrete rings as it goes. Every ring placement is logged and inspector-attested on the record. When this tunnel is still in service in 2075, the question of who built it — and who signed off on it — will have one un-fakeable answer.

Look closely and you can't say where the drawing ends and the room begins. AI-native CAD now generates the photoreal render and the buildable line-work in the same breath — collapsing a five-century order where the drawing came first and the building chased it.
